Professional Biography
Kylee Wheeler is a secondary English teacher at Howell High School in Howell, Michigan, where she teaches 10th grade English and Advanced Placement English Literature and Composition. She earned her undergraduate degree from Michigan State University, where she completed the teacher preparation program. She is currently in her last semester of the Master of Arts in Education (MAED) program and is on track to graduate May 2026. Kylee is certified to teach Advanced Placement English Literature and Composition through participation in an Advanced Placement Summer Institute. Her professional interests include differentiated instruction, fostering student discussion, and helping students analyze complex texts through multiple perspectives. She also participates in the school's initiative, the Global Scholar's Program, to integrate global perspectives into the classroom and encourage students to connect literature to broader historical and cultural contexts.
