Welcome to my World...

Thank you for checking out my world! My name is Kylee Wheeler and I am happy you are taking the time to learn more about my teaching. I am a proud alumna from Michigan State University, where I graduated with a degree in Secondary English Education (BA Certification) and a minor in European Studies. I am a double Spartan, as I am currently getting my Master of Arts in Education with a Literacy Education Concentration.

As an educator, I am an avid supporter of global education, centering my teaching around materials which represent a multitude of different viewpoints, cultures, and identities. Literature is a mirror into better knowing yourself, as well as a window to understanding the world through perspectives unlike your own.

On this website, you will find an expansive representation of my teaching experiences. Specifically, a focus of this website is my work at Michigan State University in the Master of Arts in Education (MAED) program. On the Capstone page, you will find a culmination of my work when pursuing my master's degree, from a transcript, to course materials, and my resume. This portfolio stands as a platform to share as much information about myself as a teacher as possible. I am grateful that you are taking the time to learn even a fraction of my practice.
